On June 3, 1993, DiscoverTec began operations with an IT Division. The mission statement issued by Founder & CEO Donny Lamey was that DiscoverTec will continuously exceed the expectations of both individuals and businesses by providing absolute convenience in a professional, customer friendly environment. This statement has guided DiscoverTec for over 15 years as one of the leading technology companies in the country.

The company established headquarters in Jacksonville, FL on June 10, 1995 and the Website Development department was established a year later. As the world wide web took shape, DiscoverTec was positioned well to take advantage of significant gains in market share and technological expertise. DiscoverTec enjoyed tremendous growth at the turn of the millennium and was joined by Gabriele Beyer in 2003 as the company's Chief Financial Officer.

In 2004, DiscoverTec merged with another technology company and was subsequently voted "Association Member of the Year" by Sales & Marketing Council of Northeast Florida Builder's Association. In addition, Donny Lamey was selected as a 2005 "Up and Comer" and DiscoverTec was named one of Jacksonville's "Fastest Growing Private Companies" for 3 straight years.

Continuing with the trend of growth and advancement, in 2008 DiscoverTec earned the lofty Gold status as a Microsoft Certified Partner and doubled the size of its web team.
